C.L. was one of the good guys, one of the first kids from Hemet Elementary to make friends with me (from Little Lake) when we met in junior high. Bruce introduced us, as much as introductions happened those days.
He lived a good life and leaves good memories.
Hi all,
My condolences to all family and friends. Martha had another brother-in-law, Larry Arnold, who lived and worked in Kea`au on Hawaii Island the last I knew, and his name is still on his construction company's website. I hope he's a survivor.
I didn't know Marty or Bill well, but growing up in Valle Vista and going to Little Lake School, I knew Terry and Larry all my life. They were solid, honest and nice as all get-out, and Bill seemed the same.
Onward,
John Cole

Great news that you Valle Vista guys are hale, hearty, hospitable and checking the website! I thought of you just the other day, Jon, and our Mad Magazine days when seeing some guy posting as Fester Bestertester in the Honolulu paper (online). // Barb and I can't get over how wonderful the weather is here in Las Cruces!
Keep on keeping on, John
What a great picture of George! Thank you for picking that one, and for the report of his community ties. He always struck me as wry and understated, but positive and optimistic, and this picture shows it all. We took ag shop classes together and the Idyllwild contingent--George, Hap, and Lee come to mind--more than held up their end of the fun. Jackie, it's more than clear that you have a community, several communities, supporting you because of how you both lived and worked. Best wishes for the future. John Cole

Lovely picture, kiddo. Happy Birthday! They don't seem to do marathons in Las Cruces, but if you want to visit anyway, y'all are more than welcome. (We're on the road to Marathon, TX, where they celebrate their marathon with a catfish dinner!)
Hi Iain,
It's super to hear from you! Are you still doing art? I hope so, as I remember your paintings in the RC Fair. As a fellow PCC grad, I hope you're still learning what you learned. I think of you every time I mow our tiny lawn in Las Cruces, NM, because my Aunt Moni preferred the way you mowed her lawn to the way I did it.
Thanks again for checking in.
Well here it is another Birthday for my Little Lake boyfriend. I hope you are doing well. Hope to see you at the next reunion....Love, Charlotte
Happy Birthday to my Little Lake buddy. Hope you are doing well and enjoying this joyous occasion...yay for us....Charlotte

Congrats on your birthday and on living in a beautiful part of the country. Hope you like winter. Aloha, Joh
Hey Bob, thanks for hooking back up! Lots of good memories about you, none less than you tossing bird-shot off the blackboard when Mrs. Elzinga wasn' t looking. (I didn't wonder until this minute how the custodians picked it all up. Tell us more about your career and travels.
