I moved to Washington state in 1976 and went to work as a meat wrapper at a local grocery chain.
Worked there for 30 years and retired in '04.
My husband is a supervisor for the government facility, Bangor Sub Base. He is due to retire in September 2010.
We live in a great community called Port Orchard with our two Black Lab dogs. My daughters:
Chalea (first born and named after Bonnie Chalea Clasby) has 3 daughters and lives about an hour away from us.
Jeni (second born) has 2 children, a daughter and a son, moved to Montana 3 years ago.
It is just an 8 hour drive from our door to hers so we try to get there as often as we can.
We live on an acre of property that backs up to 20 acres of woods so we enjoy the outdoors a lot with the dogs.
I have a vegetable garden and lots of flowers in the spring that keeps me busy.
The winters?????? Yes, we have lots of R-A-I-N
and that does get old.
After this winter we hope to spend the future ones in some sunnier place.
I guess we will be known as "Snowbirds". We have a motor home with a jeep in tow so we RV up here with friends, weather permitting.......sometimes even when it doesn't.
School Story:

After school I attended Skadron Business College in San Bernardino, Ca.
I worked as a key punch operator at Hemet Casting and as a secretary for Bob Squires insurance Agency in Hemet.

Hi Sherry...I wasn't aware you moved to St. George. A friend I worked with in California lives there. It seems like a nice place to live. We drove through there on one of our trips.
