David was probably one of my best friends in elementary school and high school and we continued to be friends throughout our lives. David became a civilian employee for the Riverside Sheriff's Dept and when he went into the USAF during the Viet Nam era, we kept in close contact. David after an honorable discharge became a Deputy with RSO. I began riding with him after my discharge from the Air Force and became a Police Officer for 25 yrs. David retired from RSO after 29 1/2 yrs. David and I had a lot of great adventures and were room mates for some time. David had medical problems for the last part of his life, and was very proud and did not want many to even know. Rest in Peace David.
