Received this "Parable of Immortality" when my dad passed.

I am standing upon the seashore. A ship at my side spreads his white sails to the morning breeze & starts for the blue ocean. He is an object of strength & determination, and I stand an watch until at the last he hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come down to mingle with each other.
Then someone at my side says, "There he goes!"
Gone where? Gone from my sight - that is all. He is just as large in mast and hull and spar as he was when he left my side and just as able to bear his load of living freight to the place of destination. His diminished size is in me, not him. And just at the moment when someone at my side says, "There he goes!"
There are other eyes watching him coming and other voices ready to take up the glad shout, "Here he comes!"
Such is life. We only see what we see, but as we see them go others see them come.
WE ARE NEVER ALONE !!

Yes, Jimmy was the "sweet" guy...........he graduated in 65...he's two years younger than me.......He's living in Texas now also..He's working for the postal service......think he's at Round Rock, TX........

You're grandboys are just adorable.......hope all is well with you. Our daughter gave birth in July to a "girl" this time........she has 3 boys as you know........Gia Marie was born just 6 days after my 70th birthday. (7-11) She's adorable and a true "Cancer" !!!

Sorry to hear about "both" of your husbands passing away.....My parents had "Hemet Stationers" which was on Harvard Street........they sold it to my brother, who closed it down about 8 years ago. He went to work with our company, then we sold, so now he's working for the new owner in Anaheim......they have over 300 personnel now.
Happy to be retired !!!!! Take care and keep in touch..........what ever happened to Lois?? She came to the 40th or maybe 45th reunion and sat with me.....haven't heard anything from her since????
